The struggle is real! I’m not employed outside the house, because I’m fully disabled. Info, however, have a grandson I take care of when his dad is working. He’s the priority, so I can’t always be spending my time writing when he is with me.

I do try to take some time to write most days, though. How many words? I don’t keep track. Some days it might be 100. Some days I might just satisfyingly edit a previous chapter or two. Other times I get three thousand words out and that’s just real, solid, satisfying day.

Some days I don’t write, kiddo or not. There are times when I’m just overtaxed, in too much pain, or don’t have the spoons. Those days I take off. And don’t allow any guilt.

Today, however, is a writing day. Do I have achieved my blogging goal, and now I’m off to write so I can get this book ready to publish hopefully by this spring!
