Well, I took some time off and it was hard to do. I watched Daredevil, skipped the gym (only because I sprained my ankle), and can't wait to get back to work.

So I'm going to do it! Starting with updating the memoir I wrote after my brain cancer diagnosis in 2014. I'm a 13-year survivor this year, on a new med that is giving me years more it seems. A good time to reup that one. I dont' expect it to take long, and I'm going to publish it as soon as I get it done.

June is going to be a good month, and I expect to start working on an anthology! I've got a few short stories I really like that I want to publish. I'm going to mix them in with stories I've had published in various other places. I don't expect that to take too much time since it's just a matter of editing and organizing.

Once that's done, I'll finish up a novella for a group project with BookTok friends. That's a fun one! More monsters and a mythical retelling. Anyone who's read EKHO knows how much I love to do that.

The fall will be taken up with my new YA dragon fantasy. I've already started it, so there are a couple of chapters already started. I had eyes on publishing it this year, and I still might if I get it written quickly enough, but I'm not going to push too hard. I still have to get cover art, and look for beta readers. I want to do a full team this time, all the way to ARC readers and have things set before publishing.

Either way, it's going to be a busy and fulfilling writing year!
