It’s a writing day off, but here I am

Had to get to the blog. Yesterday I couldn’t blog, because I was really down and out. Too hard to blog in the hospital, so I didn’t want to miss two days in a row. Today is definitely a sore day, but I can still text with my left thumb! Tuesday night’s author event was a big success. The store sold almost all the books the ordered, only three were left . I signed those so they have those left on hand! It was really fun reading a chapter out of my book and hearing laughs when the passage was supposed to be funny! The store employee said it made her want to buy one! I’ve got my chapter to read at future events for sure. I’m going to do my best to get back to writing as soon as I can and get book 2 off to the editor. It’s almost done and honestly I just love it! I can’t wait until it’s ready to go. I think it will be more popular and help boost sales for book one.

It’s really fun to be back on the job. Now I just have to heal up and get back on the keyboard!
